{{tag>}} ====== Demonstration of the True size scale of the Solar System (SS) ====== ===== General Description of the Simulation ===== When correct scales (for distances among SS objects and their radii) are used in any modeling of the Solar System, planets are invisible. In this simulation, to demonstrate the vast space among SS objects, we can create a simulation with a range of the radius scale for a fixed distance scale. Starting with the true scale, increase the size scale to a large value (up to several million). We can even include asteroids. ~~ =========================================================== ~~ ~~ Important/key tasks to be completed for this simulation ~~ Important pending tasks (or notes/ideas) to complete the simulation. * Task 1 * Task 2 * ... ~~ =========================================================== ~~ ~~ Technical Aspects of the simulation: prerequisites, products, etc. ~~ === Prerequisites === These are technical prerequisites (3D model components) to create this simulation. * item 1 * ... === Newly created components from this simulation === These are newly created components (functions, materials, cameras, etc.) from this topic simulation. * New component 1 * ... ~~ =========================================================== ~~ ~~ Astronomical/Astrophysical Concepts ~~ These are underlying astronomical concepts to teach with this simulated topic. * Concept 1 * ... ~~ =========================================================== ~~ ~~ Scenes created in the simulation ~~ These are key scenes of the simulation; based on ''storyboard'' files. * Scene 1 * ...
